Andre writer

is a songwriter and owner of iPenHitz Music and Publishing and newly founded  F.A.M.E. Management.  

iPenHitz Music specializes in creating music for tv, film, major and indie artist. In late 2019 Andre signed Dayna Madison. Dayna is a singer and classically trained dancer. In one years time she has gone from having  no music out prior to accumulating over 1 Million streams on Spotify, and charting on iTunes RnB charts and iTunes Dance Charts.

Andre has been around the music industry most of his life. His mother Dwan Smith is an actress famously known for her role as “Deloris” in the 1976 film “Sparkle” His father, Nate Fortier, a producer and songwriter know for his disco hit “Red Hot” by Freda Payne. Nate is also responsible for giving  Chris Stokes  his first shot in the music industry.

After graduating from St. Augustine’s University, Andre dove head first in music  production and songwriting. Working with legends like Devante Swing from Jodeci, AB Liva, Lil Zane, and Lambo Lux. In 2010 Andre (under his previous Stage name JonDoe) put on his artist hat and went to work! In 2010 he entered the “Rip The Mic” contest presented by Shiek Shoes and Def Jam and was one of the winners along side Dizzy Wright. This lead him to sign with super producers 7 Aurelius and Ghost Kasen.  He would then later featured on Ja Rules “Pain is Love 2” album on a track called “Never Had Time” Not stopping there Andre was able to secure music placements on various television shows “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Bad Girls Club, and Real World New Orleans.  After breaking ties the label and going through a divorce Andre was determine to bounce back. He rebranded himself as “Andre Writer” and kept his foot on the gas. He has written and placed songs with Joi Marshal from legendary group Jade, Marqus Clae, Keke Nova and landed over 25 Synch placements.  2021 was great year for Andre, and 2022 is looking even more promising.  We loom forward to see what’s next for Mr.Writer.
