is a freelance videographer, editor, and host who specializes in sports content. She’s a Richmond, VA native whose career has taken her to Ohio, Alabama, and most recently California.
Her career began in April of 2012 with an eight month internship with the Cleveland Browns. Later that year she was offered a position as a Video Production Assistant with the Auburn IMG Sports Network, which took her to Auburn, AL. While at Auburn, she produced the women’s basketball web show, hosted the Auburn Sports Report, and traveled and shot highlights for both the men’s basketball and football teams. She even got the opportunity to go to the 2014 BCS National Championship at the Rose Bowl.
In the summer of 2014, Caitlin lost her job at Auburn due to internal changes and moved back home to Richmond, VA. While there she began her freelance journey with WTVR CBS 6 and University of Richmond Athletics. Both these opportunities gave her the chance to sideline report at U of R’s men’s and women’s basketball games and football games. She also had her T.V. debut anchoring the 11:00 p.m. sports.
Itching to live in a big city and really expand her wings, Caitlin decided to take a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles in October 2016. She had no job lined up prior to moving there so it took her a few years to navigate the rocky terrain of sports in LA. She has continued on the path of freelancing and through much persistence and tenacity her efforts have led to opportunities with the LA Clippers Youth Basketball program, Metta World Peace’s XvsXSports, the Drew League, and The Basketball Tournament.
Caitlin is proud of how far she’s come and how much she has overcome to get here. She is eager to continue making herself known in the sports world and hopes to do more hosting and reporting, while also breaking into the boxing and football worlds in LA. She hopes her story inspires others to truly go after what they want in life and embrace the process of things turning out better than they could imagine.
