Eva Garcia Luna
is a singer/songwriter/actress from Durango, México, who moves to Los Angeles 10 years ago to study acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute where she had the opportunity to participate in several musical productions, that’s how she started to get involve in a music career.
After doing musical theater at The Marilyn Monroe Theater in West Hollywood, she had decided to follow her hearth and kept going with music so she started to create her own music, which led her to produce her firsts 2 singles in Spanish and English: “Hot Caliente” and “Thank you”.
Later she recorded her first album in Spanish called Merezco which contains 7 songs written by herself and two covers and before releasing her album, the single “El Café” was selected to be part of Amazon Music’s collection for the Day of Love and Friendship 2015, along with other world-renowned artists.
Since then, she has released different singles such as Así, Baila, Ahora, México Lindo y Querido and most recently her new single in promotion “Lo Superé” which is a connection to her Mexican roots a mariachi/banda song.
Since she started her music journey, she has gotten different awards and recognitions to mention some:
In 2014:
She was nominated as Best Female Proposal in the “Premios de la Calle”
2015:
The state of California awarded her with 2 recognitions for her artistic career and support for the Latino community.
2016:
She received the GVII Awards International recognition for dignifying, enriching the art with her talent.
2017:
She received an award as a singer and composer from the radio: Radio Risas.com – Award for Singers and Composers
Also same year she got the The Art and Movements Awards
And another recognition by the radio show “Sendero Nostalgico y su Poético Musical” from Radio Centroamerica for her contribution to art and culture.

She said that opening the doors for herself as an independent artist has been always a struggle, but she knew since she was very young, she would be doing something related with music, because of how much she loves it and her hard work, persistent, sacrifices, constancy and believing in herself has taken her to participate and perform in different music festivals in different countries in Mexico, USA, and Europe.
