was raised in the smallest town in the smallest state in America-North Providence, Rhode Island, and is currently residing in Los Angeles, California.  As a SAG-AFTRA actress, Julie specializes in acting for films & TV, and has been a professional on-camera host & model for 15 years.  Using her expertise as a former award-winning professional athlete with wrestling, martial arts, gymnastics, and competitive cheerleading, Julie is best known for her work in action, drama, sci-fi & thriller films.  She can also be seen in countless commercial print & video projects. Julie’s experience includes tactical training, including semi-automatic weapons, and is currently training for her Green Belt in Krav Maga under Master Roy Elghanayan. 

Julie’s journey as a performer started with her debut on stage at 2-years-old with dance recitals and acting in school & church plays.  Growing up, she would also drag her younger brother into putting on talent shows in front of family on the weekends.  “I’ve always had a fiery passion within me to entertain people.  Being on the stage and on set feels like home to me,” Julie said. She explained the first time she set foot on a film set wasn’t until high school when she had a featured extra role in, “Dan In Real Life.”  “I loved observing everyone on set…from the actors to the gaffers, hair and makeup to ‘craftie,’ I learned so much. Being there was a pivotal moment in my life because that’s when I knew, without a doubt, that acting is what I am meant to be doing in this lifetime,” Julie said.   

Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude  from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations.  At the University, Julie took many theatre program classes, which ignited her passion to pursue acting more seriously.  Following graduation, she moved to Manhattan for two years before making the trek across the country and settling in Los Angeles.  “I wasn’t sure if NYC or LA was the best market for me, but I’m so glad I moved to Manhattan first to get my feet wet in the business- it really toughened me up, coming from the smallest town in the country to living in one of the largest cities in the world,” Julie said, “It was an invaluable learning experience.”  She explains that picking up and moving to a new market not knowing anyone or having a job lined up was especially scary at first.  Now having lived in LA for five years now, she said “I don’t feel so much like such an outcast anymore.  I’m finally at a point where I’m getting called in to audition for network shows, large-scale films, and becoming a familiar face to certain casting directors.  I’m incredibly grateful to have representation that I know is always in my corner of the ring to make that happen,” Julie said.  Her words of encouragement for other actors are to never lose faith in yourself and your path to achieving success in what you are passionate about.  “Imagine you are in a long line of actors – in front of you and behind you- and you’re all in line to get this golden ticket to book THE JOB.  Some time goes by, and you notice people get impatient and leave the line.  The line moves forward and your a few steps closer to achieving your dreams.  Some more time goes by and even more people leave the line.  You move a few steps closer.  As long as you stay in the line, eventually, YOU will be the one to get the golden ticket. To book THE JOB!  Never give up on your dreams because achieving them is always a lot closer than you think,” Julie said.     

      Aside from the entertainment business, Julie is a Reiki Master Teacher, Intuitive Healer, with a Mastery in multiple energy healing techniques, and CEO of Chakra To Ya, where she has provided profound healings and spiritual guidance since establishing her business in 2016.  With Chakra To Ya, Julie has facilitated healings and certifying energy healing practitioners all over the world at a rate of 300+ a year- in 32 countries!
