is currently a traveling ER and trauma nurse from Omaha, Nebraska living and working in the LA area. He’s also currently a working actor and will be appearing in the new HBO series “Minx”, set to premier in the spring of 2022.
Nate has wanted to be an actor since he was a kid, but coming from a “blue-collar” upbringing in Nebraska he always felt discouraged to pursue it as a career. On a football scholarship he was able to obtain his nursing degree and developed a plan in college to become a traveling nurse so that he could move out to LA and support himself as he pursued acting. Never having been to LA or having any contacts in the film industry, he looked for any way possible to gain exposure, which lead him to compete in the international modeling competition “Mister Supranational” in 2019. In the competition that took place in Poland, he would compete against 40 other men from around the world chosen to represent their respective countries. Nate had never modeled in his entire life, let alone done any runway walks or choreographed dancing that the competition called for. Very much to his surprise, he won the competition and the title of “Mister Supranational 2019”.
Soon after that the Covid-19 pandemic began and a year that was supposed to be spent traveling the world, attending fashion and modeling events, and working towards his ultimate goal of becoming an actor turned into a nightmare spent working on the front lines of different hospitals in LA. Despite this set back, through his experiences he was able to utilize his platform to support charity work in Africa, make connections, attend regular acting classes, and signed with a talent agency this year.
To put it in his words, “Although I never in a million years thought my journey would look like this, I wouldn’t change this wild ride for anything, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
