Paul James Houghton

The founder and CEO of Dreamotion Studios, Paul James is a Professional Filmmaker, Writer and Director. He is currently working on a confidential project with a major studio in Los Angeles, California, in addition to developing and producing several independent film projects and running Dreamotion Studios for a diverse range of clients.

Originally from England, Paul moved to the United States over 20 years ago and swiftly became a leader in creative design in Detroit. After selling a feature length screenplay to a major Hollywood studio, he moved to California in 2010. As a former executive Vice President of Design Operations, Paul is also a proven leader, with extensive creative diversity and business expertise.

Paul is a passionate and caring individual, a fine role model for his 2 young daughters, and an advocate for diversity, equality and a better world by reducing and eliminating hatred. This is clearly evident in his highly rated and award-winning film; ‘From Under The Bridge: When Bullies Become Trolls’, which is inspired by a true story centered around bullying, cyber-bullying and suicide awareness.
