better known by his stage / entertainment company name “Q Bwoy” is an official Hollywood Reggae Ambassador with well over 25yrs of experience, specializing in Reggae, Dancehall, Urban Music, R&B, Soca & Hip Hop shows and weekly night club events. Quie is also responsible for the longest running California Reggae / Dancehall Hollywood club promotions, with his legendary Jamaican Gold hitting Los Angeles streets way back in 1995. He has had the honor to produce shows for major recording artists & celebrities including Shaggy, Damian Marley, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, Barrington Levy, Rayvon, Kes Band, Bunji Garlin, KRS One, Mr. Vegas, Baby Cham, Lady Saw, Mos Def, The Rootz, Wayne Wonder, Chris Brown, E-40, Too Short, Gyptian, Elephant Man, Serani, Red Rat, Kevin Lyttle, Mrs. Triniti, Collie Budz, Beres Hammond, Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, Tarus Riley, Sanchez, Mad Lion, Born Jamericans, YG, Jr Reid, Black Eyed Peas, and Many More Award Nominated Artist.
Quie has toured around, playing music as a Dee Jay in multiple countries such as Morocco, Japan, Mexico, and of course the US.. Q Bwoy Productions is a cornerstone for caribbean / afrocentric cultural events, concerts and festivals in the Los Angeles California region. Before the 2020 pandemic you could catch him at weeklies such as Jamaican Gold Sundays, Poom Poom Tuesdays and Saturday nights on the mic at Shabbaaaaa LA. Since LA’s reopening June 2021 to be cautious Quie only brought back one of his weekly reggae nights, Poom Poom Tuesdays inside the El Cid on Sunset, with a plan to relaunch the legendary Jamaican Gold Sundays hopefully in the spring of 2022, bigger and badder then ever, considering the pandemic is under control by then.
