Shakirah Edwards
Is a multimedia journalist who specializes in red carpet interviews, public speaking, event hosting,and press junkets. In 2018 she battled homelessness and embarked on a new journey to Los Angeles, California. With just a little over 1K and a few suitcases, she left everything she knew and went on to live with over 20 strangers.
During her time in LA she worked for the likes of the Ellen Show, Warner Bros, and featured on huge platforms like Hulu & TMZ.
Most recently, her life took a turn and she found herself pregnant by her boyfriend at the time. Excited yet reluctant, she moved back to her home town to start a family. Only to find out that her boyfriend had been unfaithful for quite some time, unfortunately ending their relationship. Today Shakirah is 6 months pregnant, doing her best but still hoping to make a big difference in media. She has broadened her horizons and is looking to use her talents to do more public and motivational speaking.
