TATE SEDAR

American/British artist TATE SEDAR has been featured on radio, top EDM blogs and the EDC Virtual Rave-a-Thon, blending electro house & pop trademarks with his multicultural upbringing & calling to build a platform for electronic music beyond the dance floor. Born and raised in San Francisco, he grew up on Motown, disco, hip-hop and rock. When he moved to MD, he discovered the “Now That’s What I Call Dance” compilation and Dance Dance Revolution at suburban arcades. TATE connected the dots and realized hip-hop & house were children of soul and the parents of the “producer/DJ.” Form there, he learned to produce at 11 and DJ at 13 in Point Blank Music School, London. He focused high school & college on production & songwriting.

Now based in Hollywood, TATE has already mixed with household names such as Don Diablo, Cash Cash, Wolfgang Gartner, DallasK & Henry Fong. His dancepop hit “Heaven” (Oct 22) has gained attention on blogs & airwaves and his official remix for “Hero” by Empire’s Terrell Carter elevated Carter’s original message on American civil rights. TATE seeks an existential voice for electronic music and to disrupt the pop format like in his recent release “All of Your Lovin’.” He spent the COVID-19 pandemic refining his engineering & sound and is now ready for a unique, untouched path ahead.
