Also known by his moniker The Jedi Knight, is a rapper, songwriter, and producer who was born and raised in the city of Detroit, MI. by a single mother as well his grandmother. Knight began his journey in music at the young age of 13, when a classmate of his inspired him to join him in writing rhymes for fun. Little did his friend know what he had awaken inside of Tristan, seeing as it would become his full career path later down the line.
Throughout his teenage years, Knight actually had the goal of making it to the NBA, since basketball was his first love, but after realizing that he didn’t have the same passion for sports as he did with music, at the age of 19, he pivoted in his career choice and went full steam ahead in being an artist.
In his 20s, Tristan Knight released several mixtapes or original albums produced by himself, and 3 of his other friends, that would gain the attention of other creatives across the city of Detroit. At the age of 28, after rekindling a relationship with his childhood friend, now wife, they both decided to pursue their dreams of film and music by moving to Los Angeles and start a family. Today, Knight has released 2 EPs titled Farewell Detroit & The ReEvaluation, 2 instrumental albums titled Hart Plaza & Pacific Coast Highway, a slew of self-produced singles, as well as production for artists, DIGI, Sta-Lo, Dash Jordan, and Queen Tonika.
