Yolanda started In the Know with Yo because her friends inquired about her attending a lot of events and taking pictures with several celebrities. For the most part, the majority of the events she was attending were work-related because she works in the Entertainment Industry. Initially, it was just a hobby, and she shared events with friends. She was sharing so much so that her friends and husband said she should start a business. On July 11, 2016, In the Know with Yo was born. Today, 100% of her almost 3k membership has come from word of mouth and the support of her squad. Yolanda’s advice – “Starting a business takes a lot of commitment, consistency, and dedication. You have to have a passion for what you are doing or you will easily become burnt out.”
